Afaik all flights were logged ,but it was up to the individual to record the info for themselves. I don't think log books were issued for the proficiency course as it would only take up a few lines. There was a section in the "record of service book"to fill in AEF and gliding if you wanted to. (Along with the bit where your parents gave the ATC permission to maim or kill you!). 76 fan? Me too!
