Yer that looks like the proper spelling,she weren't scrapped untill 1974? she must have had a few miles under her keel.
There were often Submarines tied up along the quayside who held a open day on a Saturday or Sunday.
Another of the busy quayside, 1924 SS Bericia there to carry Newcastle United fans down to Wembly for the cup,
The fare was apparently twenty five shillings for a first class return, that's 1.25p for the snot nosed youngins who only understand this new fangled digital muny.
