The good news with the San Fran service is that TCX have spread the flights out nicely to offer a 5 weekly service to California next year.
LAX will be Mon/Wed/Sat, with SFO on Thu and Sun. Just Tue and Fri with no west coast service, for now as I'm hopefull 2018 may bring a daily flight, with possibly 4 weekly LAX and 3 weekly SFO.
I personally think the TCX news is fantastic. We now have a remarkable USA route portfolio, and, while others wonder if Norwegian could bring long haul to MAN and BHX, Thomas Cook have just got on with it at MAN.
Sure, the frequency may not be great just yet, but, as they have shown with daily JFK/MCO and 6 weekly LAS, TCX ar willing to put the frequency in if the route warrants it.
Some are not huge fans of Thomas Cook, but, hats off to them, they are doing something other carriers are unwilling to do at MAN with its network.
Now, of only we could persuade them to add Cape Town, that would be the icing on the cake.
