Skipper Take home pay , if resident in the uk, will be Circa £5500. Base is £7500 plus maximum claimable £840/ month. Basic leave allowance, currently allocated by the company. £50 per month phone allowance. No doubt you can be considered to be on permanent standby when off duty. ie down route.
Its an option for those who must return to the UK ( europe) and are perhaps suitably fed up with their expatriate experience.
I was told that they are expecting significant expansion into asia, inc India and far east. Ironic for those trying to escape asia.
I doubt the roadshows wil highlight the contractual deficiencies. Anyone interested in NLH would have to be living on the north pole not to have noticed the year long campaign by rishworth to attract guys to its uk crewing operation
