The East West Book is well worth the read. My copy is autographed by Capt Archie Smith the author.
It's funny but a well know 7.30 ABC presenters company proclaimed loudly they started the concept of Air Cruising in Australia.
But after reading the book it was clear that the Directors of East West were very forward thinking arranging an Air Tour in one of the Hudson's VH EWA to Alice Springs on 29th March 1951. Their route was
