Long gone are the days when the BBC News reported the news. Nowadays they selectively choose what to show, how to show it and much is tainted by their own spin. They "pull apart Government spin" if it suits them, they also push a pet subject if they feel it is not being given the attention it 'deserves'. The sources of information they have been using for the Syrian conflict should make people very wary of their coverage, and they have spent no energy investigating what has really been going on.
As bad as Russian State media? Maybe not, but they produce a filtered, sanitized and, sometimes inaccurate output all the same.
