MAN is a very competitive airport for all the HA's with at least 6 all in the pot, by comparison LPL(1), BHX(3), LBA (1+ Jet2 self handling), EMA (2+2) and so on.
Aother thing to bear in mind is that MAG own STN, BOH & EMA which all take a good share of diverted flights, so the profits eventually all go in the same pot without MAN causing itself any issues.
Looking to this mornings MAN long haul arrivals out of 25 only 4 were behind schedule, the rest were early with at least 4 ahead of schedule by an hour or more. The HA's have the absolute minimum of staff and equipment to service their contracts, this is not as acute in other airports where there is less competition.
