Yes, difficult for a fresh CPL, would it be more to do with luck being in the right place at the right time for those guys?
Anyway my reason for choosing my path:
I like the idea of a solid return for a little extra investment, rather than a slightly smaller investment (however still significant) and hoping "somebody" will offer me a job while having to work out of chicken treat. (no offence to those who have gone this path - you have my respect!

..I know there are some politics and critical thinkers surrounding Cadet-ships, but I worked for mine up North the last 6 years - so we will not enter that discussion.
End of the day I am financially stable whilst getting a kick start into my career.. why wouldn't I?
