When obtaining a clearance letter from your bank on a previous loan, no matter how far back it was paid off, you'll need to make sure not only is the Loan Account number on the clearance letter but the general bank account number as well. Had to do the dance back and forth between HR and my bank before it was all straightened out. HR guy said some banks are not putting the bank account number on the clearance letter which is required for it to be processed as complete.[/QUOTE]
I'm still a little vague,
I took out a car loan with emirates Islamic bank several years ago, it's all paid off now.
I don't bank with them, and I have no affiliation for over 2 years now.
If I resigned today, who would ask for a clearance letter or more importantly how would emirates know that I had a loan with EIB.
