That is a big drop and much bigger then the 9 dollars or so that CHC stock have gone down.
Not on this earth.
Let's suppose two investors each had $10000 to invest and each bought either BRS or CHC at or near the high and nobody charged them commissions.
Our BRS investor would have bought around 125 shares at $80/sh.
Our CHC investor would have bought around 1000 shares at $10/sh.
The BRS investment is now worth around $6250, or a loss of around 37%.
The CHC investment is now worth around $700, or a loss of around 93%.
I'm forever amazed at how some ostensibly educated adults can't manage percentages, compound interest, and other fairly simple life mathematical skills.
