why not? is it due to the ipads themselves? or the GPS receivers? which are remote from both the Ipads, and provide their data via the AHRS units in the back. using both GPS and GLONASS systems.
Would you trust the MGL Xtreme EFIS and its systems? or Garmin systems?
im not trying to be a smartarse or anything, genuinely curious as to why people prefer to use some systems over others, (im studying the human factors in advanced aircraft flight deck operations at the moment)
What if the ipad setup was installed using professionally made aviation wire looms, using cannon type plugs? between all the system components?
oh, and for info, the above setup will be in a Day VFR only aircraft.. so if all else fails, you can still fly looking out the window.
