Andy Parr's crash site was visible clearly back in 1984. I flew over it at least a few times although it was not on any regular route to anywhere. It was only visible on those rare days when the weather was extremely good on the hills north of Tabubil. The terrain rises so quickly there no one would normally want to be there. How can anyone categorically say what happened. Another sad loss in PNG aviation. Trekking in there would be impossible.
