Theres no IFR in the delta, so it's not a huge issue. It was one of those requirements that were tacked on to make your work visa get issued a little easier. The fact that you have one should be enough.
As for the endorsement, I think I remember reading that the issue that you are having has been solved.
That or you could just get the endorsement on your kiwi licence?
