The reality is that the choice comes down to Hyundai or BMW.....
The Airbus is the Hyundai of the sky. Looks great when new, has that new car smell and runs really well. But in a few years that plastic trim starts to lift, the new car smell becomes the scent of 'the great unwashed' and it just doesn't last.
The Boeing product is the BMW of the sky. It gives all that the Airbus provides in the early days, but the doors always retain that solid 'clunk' as they close and the machine just keeps going and going and going, without that terrible 'whine' from its engines that is characteristic of the Bus.
Boeing remains the preferred choice of pilots and passengers alike, for very good reasons.
