I had very similar on my AS350 BA . Got an exchange engine for around £160k and swore to never go near them again !! I now have a 109Mk II which has cost a fraction to run for last three years . I now have metal in the engine which has gone to the States with an expected cost of £8k to repair , in two weeks , and be back here . It's simple ....stick to Allison engine aircraft and you will be fine !!! I have spare turbines which I kept but sold 15 whole engines for around £15k each recently ....that's why they are cheap !!
