Those who are strongly advocating the use of the tarmac & rear stairs are forgetting one thing - Qantas isn't a LCC so it's an invalid argument saying that what works for a LCC should also work for Qantas. I'm sure that if QF management were to consult their loyal pax, the huge majority would say they prefer airbridges over tarmac & stairs.
