Cannot see 2 daily stand alone AMS service being viable long term. If
connections are great enough KLM may arrive on the scene.
A330; I'd be inclined to agree, but lets not forget there is not much leverage to grow the ORK LHR route unless 321s are added, that's not to say that should IAG takeover, there would be a shake up in the competiting BA EI routes, in any mix here ORK could gain extra slots for LHR, negating the need for feed into KLM network.

However, on balance IAG may allow EI to work away as it does successfully, and allow it to serve profitable routes like AMS ORK, on balance inviting KLM into ORK may be a less favourable option, hence may allow the KL arrangement to stay in place. Who knows IAG might go after KL in time and take them into OneWorld!!!!
