Sorry to get in the way of a perfectly good Italian bashing, but what has being Italian got to do with how bad this airline is? Why the insults and the prejudice? Is this the only dodgy or disreputable outfit in Europe, or do other countries have their own examples?
Where did the rot of low-cost crap carriers and pay-to-fly start anyway? (hint, it was northern Europe)
When I worked for Alitalia, some of our european "colleagues" (not all!) would often attack our attempts at defending our terms and conditions by saying we were lazy, spoiled primadonnas with too many privileges, now it appears that a single-aircraft airline in Milan is proof we're a "banana-land" or "part of Africa"? And who thought up and created this dog-and-pony show anyway, wasn't it Cargolux management? Are they all Italians at headquarters in Luxembourg?
There is a LOT wrong with my country, but those in glass houses should not cast stones.
