El Grifo, that is a tricky $64K dollar question, there is no doubt that the SNP appear to be gaining support, despite any reasonable persons understanding.
Should the forecasts in the newspapers be correct and there is a significant SNP surge of support followed by a number of SNP Members of Parliament there will be a shift in the influences in Westminster.
This, should a second successful referendum be the result, be of benefit to the UK, but almost certainly not to benefit to Scotland.
On the other hand the polls may be as wildly inaccurate as they were prior to 18 Sept, in which case Labour may well enjoy a resurgence, this would not be such a satisfactory outcome for the UK.
