I heard from an ex-JAA AME that the JAA/EASA made it so hard and expensive for them to retain the qualification that it was not worth the hassle.
They had to travel to the EU once a year for a several week course.
He said that the treatment was like having to resit final year medical exams and he could do wothout that thank you.
Go to Dr Medora in Singapore or Dr Sagoo in KL.
I think both can do CASA, FAA and UK/EASA - thats what I do in one hit - alternating 6 monthly as required.
