Blackpool Council today on Radio Lancs blamed Jet2 for the closure of Blackpool Airport to commercial flights citing their contract with BB was heavily in favour of Jet2.
One must remember, Jet2 signed the contract with MAR Properties/CityHopper Airports. With a lost court case and appeal, I would question BB's due diligence at the point of purchase.
The airport can't even function normally to the end as can be seen by the homepage
here, I believe there are just a few flights to operate yet. Someone could be actively seeking the live flight info.........
