The A380 is a great aircraft for large hub to hub operations.
Outside of that, selling 450+ seats in small markets, particularly during off peak periods is extremely yield challenging.
There is a reason this aircraft has not been a commercial success.
IMHO the day of the 4 engine behemoth is coming to an end. With ever increasingly larger and more efficient twins, the A380 may see the boneyard sooner than most think.
