Finding own accommodation on the Eylandt will be difficult unless you're in the know with the mine or connected with the local council. One established operator set up a "remote" groote base on a neighbouring island due to not being able to find accommodation for an extra pahlot. You'll be needing a car also as the town is a fair way from the airport and you don't want to be living in the local community around the corner
