Let's not forget a number of things as this goes forward.
The history of rumors around this place would indicate at least an element of truth to the one about 1000 hrs/no flt pay etc. There can be little doubt they want more productivity, a number of the guys have been told first hand that we are going to this number of hours.
So, there are a number of possibilities:
1. The company has come out with this as a standard offer while they continue to massage a plan for us.
2. The GCAA has refused their proposal and told them to go back to the drawing board.
3. The department has said NO, wanting to be in compliance for the transition to European rules next year.
I am hopeful for the later but suspect #2, either way, we have not heard the end of this.
