As said, have a decent gig at home, but looking at options in the ASEAN significantly reduces the "validity" of my turbojet time given the aircraft type.
The 727 time will count for total time, but will get you no where in SE Asia without a type and time on type in something modern (B757,767,777,A320,A330,A340).
If your goal is to find work over here go get a type and some time on it.
Ultimately all I care to do is commute to work, do my job, and enjoy my time off, the Asia contract jobs seem to be the best bet for that & (relative) job security.
