The aircraft was very skillfully ditched a few months later, following a lightning induced loss of tail rotor, by LS and CR. Shortly afterwards, a (spoof) company memo appeared stating that as research had shown that 75% of accidents and serious incidents in the recent past had involved beareded crews, pilots were to henceforth report to work clean shaven...
