I disagree
I believe that the FAA have the correct approach with the rule that you must have 1500 hours of flight experience before you fly a transport aircraft
We have a system in Europe that favours rich kids with more money than sense and a bunch of training agencies that line their own pockets an subsidise the costs of the airline ( a rather perverse setup)
