Convenient timing
CASA has adjusted the transition period for the new licensing suite of Civil Aviation Safety Regulations. The revised implementation date is 1 September 2014.
Anyone with commitment, pride in the achievement of a major project or plain integrity would stay until the new Part 61 regs are introduced.
A board with proper governance would a) recognise this and b) would have been organised for a better transition to a new CEO. The end date of his contract didn't come as a surprise!
