I remember back when Vueling started at CWL, everyone on this forum was saying all the typical things, 'It will never work' etc. etc. that has worked, and is obviously a profitable venture for them as they come back every Summer, even this winter.
Given time, CityJet will work from CWL, and with a new owner on board soon that may of course wish to take on some fleet modernisation, then anything can happen ! It's just great that the airport has managed to attract a replacement carrier within such a short time scale, and the service is there for the catchment to use. As i say, CityJet will need a fleet modernisation programme sooner or later, just hopefully it will be sooner rather than later.
