The thread should probably remain here as the NVFR discussion has implications for fixed wing too and not everyone reads rotor heads.

I'm not sure if you are just s!it stirring yet again, however the use of the word "probably" three times in the one paragraph implies that they don't really know.


In the US NTSB reports, if they can't find a reason or don't definitively know, they state this and then just say what probably happened.


Look at the graphic on page 4. They lasted 171 seconds. Sounds familiar? Who remembers "178 seconds to live?"

There seems to be an issue with the URL's of late in threads. When a link is created it redirects to VIGLINK some kind of money making click for cash website that I presume eventually ends up at the desired website.. I've asked the mods via PM to see what it is and if it's on by design.
