The industry could have had the benefit of a confidential human factors reporting system years ago, much like CHIRP and the rail sector's CIRAS, but SCIS/OGUK believe that the present level of 'workforce engagement' is sufficient. Contrast this attitude with the recent news that the US regulatory authority BSEE have announced the implementation of just such a service for their employees in the States.
