Airspace Avoid, the free app, gives a 500mil moving map, updated every 4 weeks. Expandable map. Still learning it's uses.
On a steady course, the wee plane symbol has a long blue-and-white line predicting its track. With a 20k+ ground level wind, at 45+ degrees to our desired track, over rather featureless moor with haze, we just put the line on the airport circle, and flew the compas heading that kept it there.
