Can you enlighten us a bit please as I, and am certain others too, have a hard time understanding why an employee should ask permission to marry from his or her employer. I'm not a big fan of dipping the pen in company ink myself, but if one of my guys wish to get married - even if it's with one of other blokes - I really couldn't give rats posterior, and would be utterly flabbergasted if asked for permission.
