Classic Air Force, Newquay

Hi all,

New museum on the block down in Cornwall is the Classic Air Force at Newquay Airport (RAF St Mawgan in old money).

We are located in the old Nimrod deep servicing facility, and we are based around the Air Atlantique fleet of classic aircraft, relocated from Coventry, with both static and flying exhibits.

If you are in the area, please come in and visit, for 2 reasons.

One, we need visitors!

Two, we need feedback from people who know what makes a good aviation museum. We are a new operation, and cannot easily draw on the experience built up by the Coventry team due to the distance.

Apologies if this comes across as a sell. It is, kind of, but Cornwall has been a classic aviation desert for years and now that we have something going on, I'm going to push it.

Best regards, Subsunk.
