77 model
exactly! old and busted!

this is the new toy im working towards at the moment,

147Kts IAS cruise, 135kts turb pen speed, 100Hp, 15L/per hour. 7.5 hrs endurance,1000nm range. VH rego, IFR equipped. on board oxy supply, service ceiling of 23,000ft.
new hotness...

why would people even consider an old 77 model, burning 45 ltr or more an hour for similar speeds, but half the range.

similar convo was had in the hangar with the turbine bonanza conversion

why bother with an old ship like that, when a nice RV will do the job at a fraction of the cost.. even a Cirrus!
Its time for the old dinosaurs and the old boys to get with the times and fly something modern.

(strictly speaking for private use only)
