I understood the topic being debated was the perceived chronic decline in the expertise and integrity of CASA and the ATSB.
A number of participants in that debate frequently suggest the solution is to get rid of the lawyers in CASA.
The point I frequently try to make – using a variety of metaphors like organ grinders v monkeys / dumb v dumber / - is that it won’t make any difference.
Perhaps I've misunderstood the topic or made my point poorly. You are of course free to disagree and wag your finger.
I will try a different approach to make the same point.
Senator Nick Xenophon has been raised to quasi-Sainthood status by some in this thread, because of his efforts to uncover and probe some of the ostensibly odd behaviour of CASA and the ATSB.
What’s Nick’s day job, and what are his political affiliations?
