To answer your question in a nutshell , Scoot pays peanuts. On a different page , the future of scoot does not look too bright. Firstly the strategy to start Scoot was a muddled decision , SQ is cannibalising it's own market.Rather than just reduce their fares and offer more capacity they went in for another airline.Now they are planning the 787s more because SQ doesnt want them. Rather than just continue with their 2 airline strategy of SQ and MI , they went in for Scoot and Tiger.Eventually they will pay the price.The SEA market will have casualities in the not too distant future.
