Is anyone even the slightest bit surprised?
I have to tell you that I have a disabled son who uses a wheelchair. Every time we go through security in the UK or (more especially) in the USA, things become quite difficult.
I think our worst experience was the TSA at Miami outbound to the UK.
My son was taken away from us in his wheelchair and was not treated well.
However, I was able to reassure him afterwards that he still had a high degree of intelligence which far exceeded the hopeful expectations of the "highly trained" staff who had spent 15 minutes making themseves feel inportant.
