Reminds me of the film "Catch me if you can " The amazing thing is in the time it takes to actually catch the guy.
If I was the FAA administrator I would not procecute and send the guy to jail, but quietly hire him so that you can learn how he could fool everyone for so long , and ask him to build safegards in the system so that it can't happen again.
