It is my understanding that Diamond Club in name will continue, it is though BAEC from a back office perspective. The current bmi IT support for DC will be switched off on the 30th.
Things like Diamond Club Lifetime Gold members will be invited to join the Executive Club Gold tier for one year to be consistent with BAEC. Many of the priveledges of DC are only valid on BD flight numbers.
As BD flight numbers become fewer and fewer, Diamond Club will quietly die and DC members will be assimilated into BAEC. As this is the bmi Regional thread, the main point is that bmiR has no FFP as of 30/9/12
