Just seen Ryanair's proposed extra charges for Spanish airports for flights departing Spain and booked before 2nd July.
Apart from Madrid and Barcelona, where the rise is about 10 euros per person, the increases everywhere else seems to be 2 euros per person or less. I can see that this might be the final straw for Easyjet if their Madrid base is either unprofitable or only marginally profitable.
If this is the increase in cost that other airlines have to pay as well, I'm rather surprised that the Spanish Govt even bothered imposing the fee increase.
Anyone else have thoughts on this ?
