Maybe. Maybe not. The fact that VA is now an Airbus operator certainly lends weight to this theory (re general experience base & ease of flight crew switching between types via CCQ), but the 737 has been the bread & butter of the operation from Day-1, & Airbus would have to offer a
very attractive deal to justify making the switch en masse. I suppose I could say, "I'll believe it when I see one parked at the gate," but then again, it wouldn't be the first time an airline has done a major fleet switch.
