One thing to consider and it is a BIG one that most don't is once you are out, you cannot get back in easily(to Canadian aviation that is). As a requirement of employment with EK, you must surrender that almightily seniority number. That may well be worth **** with the way things are going at AC but EK is not a forever job. Dubai is fine, for awhile but you do need to have some ideas of what if it doesn't work out, how do I get back to my home country once my family says enough is enough? Be it five or ten years, one day you will likely want to head back and with price inflation in the Middle East and likely being on an FO salary for the better part of five years, maybe more, you won't be getting wealthy in a hurry. What then? Like earlier posts said, I would wait it out at AC and see what happens. The Middle Eastern airlines are always looking for fresh meat to abuse, so I wouldn't rush to sign up if I were you.
