I would suggest that you play to your stengths... your youth.
Although it might seem painful in the short term if your parents are able to secure a loan against their house this will allow you to start training immediately.
The retirement bulge is shortly to hit most carriers across europe and with an integrated course on your CV you will be very well placed.
You clearly did well at assessment and the FTO advise is sound. Start training as soon as possible. If you delay you just might not get back in the game. Seize the opportunity.
