Hi Guys, just came across this thread.
I was a member way back in 1961. Did my first solo in VP-TAS, Auster Aiglet.
The Proctor belonged to Garth Lyder, I think (BW Capt).
Through the early 1960s I flew most of the LAC fleet.
Retired now, 19,000 hours later, I still have fond memories of the LAC.
I would have helped, but I live in the UK now.
Gaylord Kelshall at the Chaguaramas Military History Museum, still has parts of VP-TAS.
He is quite ill, spends a lot of time in bed, but it might still be worth a visit, he had quite a few photos, and some exciting stories. he lives onsite at the museum.
