Much effort went into sealing the floor on both Goose and 727.
One of the concerns was that we often took horse charters hither and thither. I well recall gently placing the aircraft on the ground in Sydney following a sector from NZ ... gracefully easing the levers into reverse ... and listening to the sound of the surf from the main cabin.
... mind you, my bags were on top of the pile so all was well with the world ..
