RTR (P)

I see some here have helped a lot in clarifying the difference between various classes of RTRs. Thank you for that.

Could someone post a reference which states that the foreign (commonwealth) Class-1 medicals needs to be kept current?

It seems kind of insane for any pilot in service to keep two Class 1 Medicals current (Although that's what I have been doing). About 3 years back when I went to give Part 1 & 2 in Chennai, the Part 2 examiner told me I did not need to give Part 2 at all (and I didn't pass Part 2 either), so that left me a little confused.

What I'm more concerned about now is some written reference/clarification/interpretation on whether the foreign Class 1 Medicals need to be kept current or not. My foreign CPL is valid for life, and the RT is endorsed on the PPL there.

Thank you for everyone's help.
