If GLA could make it worth their while to poach FR and give them the use of the old international pier at a discount, the terminal at PIK would be reduced to whatever sun charters they could put together for the summer peak and what's left of freight. Remember there's no need for the Navy to have the runway(s) and no flying at BAe anymore so should FR up sticks, I don't see how PIK would be viable as a going concern. They would become the Teesside of Ayrshire without the excitement of regular KLM (!)
Hence PIK will offer FR anything to avoid that, they can't afford to allow FR to go as BAA Glasgow will finally have wiped them out. Long memory me!
