There may be a more appropriate board for this thread, in which case could a moderator please move.

I thought a new aircraft part-out / recycling start-up were worthy of their own thread, so here goes.

Sycamore Aviation will be based at Durham Tees Valley Airport (formerly Teesside International) and their first victim is already on site, Boeing 737-500 N249AN, formerly of SkyExpress, Russia, arrived yesterday.

Despite this first aircraft, the airport MD, Mike Morton, told local radio the deal for the company to use the airport had not yet been finalised.

The only information known up to now is the founder is a Kevin O'Hare, a Jet2.com Boeing 757 captain who has also flown for Flyglobespan, Thomas Cook Airlines & Gill Airways. The website is below:
