Got reply today, as I had highlighted to CAE afterwards about the mistake, it was very strange the way they seemed to distance themselves away from this point.

My 2-pence worth, they have an age discriminating policy, as there was nothing in my CV that would be less worth then any mates of mine's CV's.
Getting interview based on CV should have be the least of the problems, of course they could have done the full Monty of charades, and made me attend the interview and assessment and made me pay the assessment fee.
At least we could have been less inclined to say they was age discriminating. I think their response today to proves the point, although not easy to prove, that is how it is!

They are probably not the only company that acts like this, however if the company requires a certain amount of flying experience, fair enough, Ryanair does not require above the minimum amount, so there should be no difference!
